In recognition of Don Kemerer's unending and unwavering support of Freedom athletics in general and Freedom Lil' Bulldogs in particular, the Freedom Lil Bulldogs established a scholarship to be given annually to a Freedom Area High School senior. Don was a member of the Lil' Bulldogs organization and was a stabilizing influence all of those years.
